     On November 15, 2007, representatives of M&T Bank Corporation (“M&T”) will deliver a presentation to analysts and investors at the Merrill Lynch Financial Services Investor Conference in New York City. M&T’s presentation is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time. The presentation will be accompanied by a series of electronic slides that include information pertaining to the financial results and business strategies of M&T. A copy of these slides is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.
